Refund Policy
Last Updated: August 2026
At Hoboken Hat Bar, every event is thoughtfully planned around your date, location, guest count, and vision. Because we reserve our team, inventory, and event date specifically for you, the following refund and cancellation policies apply.
If you need to cancel your event, please contact us as soon as possible.
Payments made toward an event are nonrefundable unless otherwise stated in your signed event agreement.
Depending on the timing and circumstances of your cancellation, payments may be eligible to be applied toward a rescheduled event at the discretion of Hoboken Hat Bar.
Any cancellation terms contained in your signed event agreement will take precedence over this general website policy.
We understand that plans can change. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests to move your event to another date.
Rescheduling is subject to availability and may result in additional charges if the new date, location, event requirements, travel costs, or scope of service differ from the original booking.
Custom, personalized, branded, shaped, burned, altered, or otherwise modified hats and accessories are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Because each piece is created specifically for the individual guest, variations resulting from handmade customization are part of the nature of the product and are not considered defects.
If you believe you received an item with a manufacturing defect, please contact us promptly with photographs and a description of the issue.
We will review the item and, when appropriate, offer a repair, replacement, exchange, or refund at our discretion.
Damage caused by normal wear, improper storage, exposure to water or excessive heat, or changes made after the event are not considered manufacturing defects.
For outdoor events, clients are responsible for providing a safe and appropriate environment for the Hat Bar.
Weather related cancellations, venue closures, travel disruptions, emergencies, and other circumstances outside either party's reasonable control will be handled according to the terms of your event agreement.
