Our team arrives with the hats, designers, equipment, and hundreds of customization options, then transforms a space at your venue or home into a fully functioning Hat Bar. Guests find their fit, explore the collection, design alongside our Hat Tenders, and watch as their hat is shaped, styled, branded, and finished right at the event.

What types of private events do you do?

Birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties, anniversaries, showers, holiday parties, reunions, milestone celebrations, and just about any excuse to get a group together. If you have the people and the space, we can bring the Hat Bar.

How long does it take a guest to make a hat at an event?

Most guests spend about 10 to 15 minutes creating their hat, from finding the perfect fit to selecting accessories, shaping, and adding the finishing touches. Our team guides guests through each step and designs the setup around your guest count to keep everything moving smoothly without making the experience feel rushed.

We love a big event! We scale our team and setup based on your guest count, with multiple designers and customization stations to keep the experience flowing smoothly. Whether you’re hosting 50 guests or 500+, we’ll build a plan around your event so guests spend their time creating, not waiting in line.

How many guests do I need?

We can create experiences for intimate gatherings or large scale celebrations. Our packages are built around the number of hats you would like to offer rather than requiring every guest at your event to participate.

What is included with each hat?

Guests get the full Hoboken Hat Bar experience, including finding their hat and fit, working with our designers, and customizing it from our collection of bands, fabrics, feathers, vintage pieces, charms, branding options, and finishing details. Exact inclusions vary by package.

Can you match the hat bar to my event aesthetic?

Yes. We can coordinate our setup and hat selection with your event colors, theme, venue, or overall vision, while still giving guests the freedom to create something personal.

How much space do you need?

Accepted Answer

It depends on your guest count and the size of the experience. Once we know your venue and expected participation, we design a setup that gives guests plenty to explore while keeping the footprint and flow appropriate for your event. We operate an average event with a 16'x16' space.

How far do you travel?

We are based in the New York and New Jersey area but travel for events throughout the country. We have brought Hoboken Hat Bar from New York to Nashville and beyond.  Just give us a call or drop an email with your event details and we'll let you know how we can service your event!

Question 10

How far in advance should I book?

Accepted Answer

The earlier, the better, especially for weekends and larger events. Advance booking also gives us more flexibility to curate inventory and details specifically for your celebration. We often book out 6 months in advance and only do one event per day at this time to ensure total focus and attention is going to each client. Once the date is booked, it's gone for everyone else. For custom events like specific colored hats, we require a minimum of 3 months to manufacture the hats.

Can you personalize the experience specifically for my event?

Yes. Custom branding, event specific details, curated accessories, colors, and other personal touches can be incorporated depending on your package. Tell us what makes your event yours, and we will find ways to bring that story into the Hat Bar. Custom lapel pins for the hats is our most popular personalized detail that we offer.

Do you have a storefront?
